Job Description

The Director of Marketing is primarily focused on providing senior level marketing leadership, both in vision and in practice, for members of the Marketing and Sales Divisions. The Director of Marketing will play an important leadership role in the development of Vroozi’s long-term strategic plan to realize significant profitable growth and make great technology products. This position oversees marketing through leadership and management of Pre-Sales and Marketing Staff, monitoring performance indicators for the Marketing and Slaes Divisions, coaching and motivating the divisions to achieve Vroozi set goals and work in collaboration with all lines of business. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer of Vroozi and Executive Board.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the division’s financial or budget activities to fund its operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
• Analyze operations to evaluate performance of the division or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
• Direct, plan, and implement policies, objectives, and activities to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, and to increase productivity.
• Direct and coordinate the division’s business activities with the production departments on pricing, sales, marketing and new feature development for the site.
• Assess risk, anticipate bottlenecks and balance customer demands versus technical constraints.
• Ensure compliance with published sales, marketing and business approval policies.
• Oversee all staffing, training and management of the Marketing divisions.
• Oversee marketing strategies to support customer growth, customer retention and revenue objectives.
• Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
• Develop pricing strategies, balancing Vroozi objectives and customer feedback.
• Work effectively with a large group of peers and an extended team of direct reports, independent Reps and partner relationships
• Establish, monitor, and update annual sales goals, bookings projections and forecasts.
• Identify and prioritize market opportunities and develop strategies, tactics and resources to exploit those opportunities.

• Provide all direct reports with clear, meaningful direction and motivation towards objectives, as well as the necessary resources to be successful.
• Conduct evaluations for the growth and development of your team, as well as collaborate with the Training and Development Department to ensure appropriate training is provided for new employees.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling SaaS technology. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods (i.e., social media, traditional advertising, etc.). This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination

Education and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business
• 8 to 10 years experience in a Senior-level Marketing and/or Sales position.
• 5+ years experience in strategic planning and execution as a Senior Marketing Leader.
• 5+ years experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
