ORIGIN STORY

Where does the name “Vroozi” come from?

In January 2012, Vroozi Co-Founder, Shaz Khan, was having lunch with fellow Co-Founder, Rich Chala, at a local watering hole to shortlist company names and product launch plans.

Shaz remembered a television commercial from a large automobile manufacturer that had a catchy phrase ‘Zoom, Zoom’ (no sponsorship here.)  After a few rounds of word redecorating, Zoom changed to Vroom and the ‘ZI’ was joined from ‘Zippy’ (added spice), thus giving birth to VROOZI, signifying speed and acceleration with a dash of recklessness (we mean innovation.)
